Location
Stavanger is the fourth largest city of Norway with a population of around 117,315 persons. It is located in the southwestern coast of the country. The city has also been called the Petroleum Capital of Norway. It's a good combination of new and old influences.

The public transportation in Stavanger is excellent, the city has a number of bus services and taxis. The train station is located next to the bus terminal. While you can even travel by a taxi, however the public transportation system does not use subways or small trains.

The City Airport is an international airport located in the municipality of Sola, which is very near to the city. It is the country's third largest airport, in addition to planes there's also a large traffic of helicopters that the airport manages.
